THEMATIC AREA
ADVOCACY

EPF Nigeria is the voice of the vulnerable and indigent women, girls and children in Nigeria. It is a known fact that women have been suffering in every age and country from those who are supposed to protect them; that is fathers, brothers, uncles, neighbours, boyfriends, lovers, husbands, in-laws, sons and others. Through our advocacy programs, we create awareness on the negative effect of violence and social vices against women, girls and children, human trafficking, drugs and substances abuse, gender inequality, negative norms and traditions etc.
We educate women, girls and children to become stronger and more confident in controlling their lives and standing for their rights. We are the shoulder to the abused women, girls and children through their journeys to recovery. We engage the stakeholders and policymakers on the importance of the implementation of gender-sensitive economic policies and the protection of women, girls, children and people with disabilities.
