EPF Nigeria Charity Tour is the community outreach programme, focused on meeting the organization’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR). Through this channel, the foundation is able to identify the specific need in our communities and provide services to the people who needs it. The goal of each project is to identify with the group of people, their needs, and then design a program which will help meet this needs.
The foundation has been able to provide for the basic needs of the indigent, orphans and internally displaced persons in some rural communities within Federal Capital Territory and Suleja, in Niger State.
So far, our foundation has embarked on the underlisted community outreach Programmes:
Christmas with the Orphans
On December 25, 2016, EPF Nigeria had its first Community Project “Christmas with the Orphans” at The Good Shepherd Orphanage home, Gwagwalada, the organization donated some food item, clothing materials, toiletries and other basic household need.
Let Them Know We Care Community Outreach Programme
This was held on October 14, 2017 at Unveil the Veiled Orphanage Home Apo Resettlement, Abuja. The foundation donated Pumping Machine, Water Storage Tank, Food Items, Clothing materials, laundry items, toiletries, and other essential needs as identified during the survey.
Be the Secret Behind Their Smiles
The “Be the Secret Behind Their Smiles” Community outreach was another opportunity for EPF Nigeria to participate in supplying some relief materials to the Internally Displaced Person at the Durumi Camp, Abuja on December 16, 2017. This group of men, women and children were individuals, families and communities displaced by the Boko Haram insurgents from the North East region of Nigeria.
Clothe A Child for Love
The foundation took its community outreach programme to Mercy Orphanage in Suleja, Nigeria state. The “Clothe a Child for Love” project was aimed at meeting some of the basic essential needs of the children. Clothing and various items were donated to Mercy Orphanage
