The ADA IBAGWA-AKA PAGEANT is an advocacy and mentorship platform for the empowerment of the Girl-Child and promotion of Ibagwa-Aka rich cultural heritage. This programme is designed to bridge the gender gap, and make the voice of the Ibagwa-Aka Girl-Child to be heard in any process that will ultimately affect them, their families, and their communities.
It serves as a platform through which the cultural heritage, norms, values, traditions, aesthetics etc, of Ibagwa-Aka shall be known and felt by the world. It will also expose the Ibagwa-Aka Girl Child upbringing and cultural rites such as Morals, Attitude, Relationship, Life, Marriages, and other wonderful gifts, skills and potentials the Ibagwa-Aka Girl Child is endowed. It gives room for inclusion regardless of individual sentiments, religious belief, body shape, height, size and or complexion.
The Winners (the Queens), are trained to be part of responsible decision makers, positive influencers, global entities and change agents in their communities and the society at large. They are adequately equipped through personal development and capacity building programmes for leadership roles and positions in home, community and society; thereby contributing positively in family and nation building.
