Every day in Nigeria women and girls encounters different obstacles in achieving equality, from gender pay gap, to violence and sexual abuse, to restrictive reproductive rights, to constrictive women leadership and political participation.
Connecting Voices is a programme designed to address the unique challenges millions of women and girls in Nigeria faces on daily basis, to lift millions of women and girls out of poverty and create sustainable employment for women and girls across the country and upholds women reproductive rights and the right to participate in public life.


EMPOWERED WOMEN EMPOWERS (Entrepreneurship and Mentorship Programme for Women and Girls in Enugu State)
Empowered Women Empowers programme is an annual Entrepreneurship and Mentorship programme organized by EPF Nigeria with the sole aim of actualizing socio-economic and financial independence for women and girls. This project was initiated with the target of training women/girls on some selected vocations/skills within some rural communities in Nsukka and Igbo-Eze South Local Government Areas of Enugu State. The maiden edition was launched in Ibagwa-aka on June 20, 2018.
Successful candidates were enrolled for vocational training in their areas of interest including Fashion Designing and Hair Dressing/Styling. At the end of the training period, successful candidates are to be empowered with relevant equipment and start-up packages.
