Little Miss FCT is a “Catch Them Young” mentorship and advocacy programme designed for the girl children between the age of 5-12years. As a catch them young platform, It’s training and coaching programmes and activities are targeted at instilling in our girls the consciousness of the inherent talent within them, helping them to believe in themselves, empowering their voices to be heard and training them as future leaders, and global change agents.
This is an integral arm of EPF Nigeria which was carved out as a means to reach the unreached. Who is best to speak about the daily challenges being encountered by the girl child in the society better than the child who maybe experiencing same. This project was created with the core aim of strengthening the voice of children in order to help them have better childhood, reduce abuse of any kind and build their confidence.

The project is also designed to discover and unleash some hidden talents/potentials of the Girl-Child in all spheres of life (Education, Entertainment, Leadership etc), providing her the opportunity to be heard and to showcase the gift innate in her that makes her unique from other Girls.
Through the annual competition the best suitable girls are selected and trained to actively participate in the organization’s campaign against Gender Based Violence, Human Trafficking, Drug / Substance Abuse and all societal vices against the right of the girl-child in FCT, Nigeria and the world at large and to raise funds for the promotion of same and for charity work.
